SuperHero

Superhero, a person like whom everybody ever wanted to be. Basically when you hear the word ‘Superhero’, you Imagine a person who has extraordinary powers, skills and/or who combat with threats such as Aliens,Evils with supernatural powers, Mythological entities. They have skills like - Read More -

superhuman strength, the ability to fly, enhanced senses, and the projection of energy bolts, passing through the walls, running up faster than the aeroplanes, Blah Blah Blah…

Most of us, like rest of us are quite ‘super’ fan of superheroes, we get inspired by watching them fight with evil in movies and suddenly a sense called ‘Protecting-the-world-from-Evils’ comes into our mind. We try to behave a little extraordinary and most of us at some moment of life even have tried to see if we really possess any superhuman abilities. You must have tried to run faster than you can, and to pick heavy objects up that is beyond your capacity. Yes, you did, and really its not embarrassing, everybody do that.

So let me come to the fact, have you ever tried to really reach into the depth of the story of the superhero you till now have watched in movies or have imagined? I guess it will be a NO( girls will be distracted by hunks and boys by busty animated babes :P ). Most of us just get the hero-kills-the-villian thing, the villian makes the hero kneel to the ground first and then later the hero rises up and kicks the Ass of his enemy, and thus the world is saved, safe, secure and peaceful.Lets have a little twisted view, a view from an odd angle.

Let us compare the movie with the real world,

First visualize this ideal world, a world which is peace, prosperous, independent from miseries, everybody is in a ‘be happy and make others happy mood’, life runs without a glitch and everything has a happy ending, and then suddenly a weird named, wicked and evil guy comes and starts widespread destruction, and floods the peaceful city with waves of pain. And then rises a person against the things going on, he got guts to go against the evil, starts manipulating all the things going on, works hard at the plans and ultimately knocks the evil off. And then he is given a name called ‘SuperHero’,

and then the past world is restored, the happy and warm life is back.

And now the real world, world that we are now living in,this world is full of pain, anxiety, miseries, problem etc. Lets compare that peaceful city to our life, the problem as the evil and think the story again. We are running in a normal life, and then the problem comes, like evil it tries to make kneel us on the ground, pray to him. But then our inner sense judges something, that ‘something’ runs at our whole body. Its the inner conscience, it makes us to feel the dark part, and then to make a shield against it, we try to work hard and from a shield we create a weapon. Then we create plans on how to use the weapon, weapon with only one piece of ammo. We manipulate the whole fact and the root cause of the problem and ultimately we attack on it at the perfect place at the perfect time. And then its him who kneels onto the ground. And we arise as….

Yes its us who are superheroes, we dont need any extraordinary powers or skill or abilities, its just us who can be superhero in a few minutes. We can combat any problem, but only with the condition ‘If we want to’. And yes, there are also heroes who are fallen, lost in the battle, lying helpless and shattered, the reason being that their plan was wrong. But the best part of being superhero of our type is that, we are a one-man-army, we dont need time to prepare ourselves for the war,we can prepare at that only instant.

I am not a monk, neither I have a lot of experience to say all these things, but these are the mere things you can peep into and get outstanding results. I hope you have understood the real concept of Superheroes, next time when you will be watching a movie, go to the depth and dont just pass by looking at the layer above,I can guarantee, you will be really inspired by it, you will be enlightened and the thing called confusion will be washed away!

So are you ready to be a Superhero??

With this I leave this post…

Passionless

IIT

Ever woke up in the morning and felt like you have this one damn thing you’re gonna do? Ever felt the same thing every morning? For that very damned thing?

Well, even after 16 + years of existence I haven’t. And those fucking bastards like me, I dedicate - Read More -

to them my very 1st post- PASSIONLESS.

You have been lying on the bed for hours, thinking of what you’re gonna do, but nothing impresses you enough to get your ass off your bed. You really want to do something, make something happen, but you don’t know what that something is. Your thoughts have no possibilities of getting converted into action, because you don’t feel like doing them. They don’t make you feel special.

But you still want to do something. Something that will make you feel alive. But there’s nothing. And when there’s nothing you should realize that – You are Passionless.

“Either get that which will make you happy or be happy with what you got.” Those are the two options the world has provided us with. But what if those two options are not enough to us? Well, to me they certainly are not.

I don’t know what’s gonna make me happy nor do I have something which I’ll turn into my happiness. I knew with the growing population that too with so much of variations the world is one-day going to fall short of proverbs.

Coming back to the topic of BEING PASSIONLESS, I realized or rather learned something about it as I am writing.

We are not Passionless. Yes, trust me, we are not. Our thoughts are our passion . Lying on the bed and thinking what we’re gonna do is our passion in disguise. We find nothing impressive because we don’t want to do them, we just want to keep searching.

That process of thought, numerous thoughts drives us for hours, making us do nothing else but just keep thinking.

And I believe someday thinking like that for hours, I’l wake up, grab something and do it, for the rest of my life. And the world will say that as my passion.

But to me those random thoughts would still be my passion. Others’ may not know, they were actually what I am today and not what the world thinks. I know this belief may not come true, but you need to believe, that someday you’l get the thing your searching.

And that day everything will seem perfect, like it was planned all before. You’re gonna think that and smile.

And for the rest of your life, you’l know what you’re going to do.

Being Spiritual

Being Spiritual

I intended my first post to focus on girls’ psychology or something “wacky”. But something wierd happened today that forced me to read a book that my father once gave to me and said to read whenever I felt helpless. I did today. The book’s cover said “Rays of Light”. - Read More -

The first page I opened was pg.117 (I call it the Brownian way of reading books). The page said about the three slaveries of men. The first was, “Spirit of possession, attachment to power and domination”. Second, “Desire for sexual relation with women”. And the last one, “Attachment to the small comforts of married life”. These are the three things that define the male human community. And these are the only things that hold them back. The next page I turned to was pg.104 (again Brownian motion). The 5th stanza said, “First learn to know yourself perfectly and then to control yourself perfectly. You will be able to do it by aspiring at every moment. It is never too early to begin, never too late to continue”. These lines compelled me to read the entire book in one go. Now I know what I lacked. I lacked the quality of conquering my desires. This alone devastated me and brought me down. My final note is never let any desire(especially any girl) to ruin your life or passion. You can do lots of things in your life without a girl by your side. You dont need a girl to fuel your passion. I didnt need a girl who made me write this post. Losing a girl is not the end of this world, its just the beginning of learning something new. The golden quote(behind every successful man there is a woman) has been highly misinterpret. That woman referred to your mother, not your girlfriend. After being in lots of trouble lately I have realised every single mistake that I had done, no girls anymore. Now I have my passion to keep me up. My passion? Its writing, the exact thing which I am doing now. The book justified its title, it really shed rays of light on my life. A 17 year old guy writing not to have girlfriend and to follow your passion? A 17 year old guy reading a spiritual book? Hello reader, you are at “The Wacky Heads” :)

PASSION

Anyone who lives in India knows the five common features of the Indian roads: Potholes, unruly truck drivers, cattle, jaywalkers and marriage processions. In short, it’s a massacre if you’re an amateur driver. - Read More -

However, these factors can provide some very interesting sights, if searched for.

Recently, I took a trip to a hill station with my friends. We stopped for our daily dose of tea at a kiosk on our way, as it was quite early in the morning and none of us is what anyone would describe as an “Early Bird “. We were right next to a temple, where a marriage procession had arrived with the bride and the groom. The musicians, though quite exuberant a few minutes ago, had settled down.

I love to observe people, unnoticed. People are natural when they think no one’s watching them. So I closely watched the people assembled. However, the humble musicians were the ones who caught my attention. They had a content smile on their faces, a twinkle in their eyes. They were SERENE.

Frankly, I couldn’t understand why were they so happy. It was obvious their job didn’t pay well. They had limited means; that’s just a polite way of saying they were poor, and their job couldn’t do much to their income. I wondered, “How can they be so happy?”

The answer evaded me for many days. However, my brother answered that question without him knowing it. During a conversation, he mentioned that he was tired of his IT sector job and wanted to work with publishing houses, as literature was always his first priority. Although his job paid him obscene amount of money, he wasn’t getting any joy from his work. It lacked job satisfaction.

It was a eureka moment; the moment of revelation. I understood the reason behind the serene smile of the musicians. They were happy and loved their job. They ENJOYED their work.

As a child, I never took the proverb “Work is Worship” too seriously. Now that I’ve matured a bit, I can finally understand what it means. And yes, it IS the best worship, better than spending a couple of hours reading religious scriptures each week and asking god to bring happiness in our lives.

It is the work itself and not the money that makes people happy ( I’m talking about people who realize what they want from life, that is). How many of us students (Indians, anyway) really get to do what we want? 90% become doctors or engineers because parents want us to do so, or uncle thinks that’s “best for our future”. Many of us never even realize what we want from our life or simply are too timid to protest. We don’t even think about other streams of excellence. We only treat our job as a way of paying the bills. When we realize what we always wanted to do, it’s too late. That’s the biggest regret. Ask yourself. Isn’t it true??
